Pug health requires that you brush their coat at least once a week and a bath whenever they require it. The Pug dog will shed a lot, so by brushing often you can help reduce the amount of fur that coats your furniture, car and clothes. There isnt much that goes into the daily care of a Pug, but you need to pay special attention to the wrinkles on a Pugs face.

Unique Bird repellents

Wednesday, May 11th, 2011

People are already tired of buying ineffective pigeon repellents and other bird control installations. It is time for a revolutionary method that is going to scare all the pigeons from nesting on your roof and from landing in unwanted areas. Spikes, nets, trap, repellents are less effective - pigeons can easily find ways to avoid them all in the long run. So it is just a matter of time till they start coming back again. It doesn't take long to understand that sonic pest control devices, warning sounds and hawk models offer no danger whatsoever. Bird netting is used to exclude pest birds from areas such as rooftops, warehouses, airline hangars, overhangs, eaves of homes and other enclosed areas that pest birds are to be kept out of. Netting will provide 100% exclusion of pest birds and is a long-term bird control solution. Netting comes in several different mesh sizes ranging from ¾" mesh for use with all types of birds, to 2" mesh to use when larger birds like pest pigeons and seagulls are a problem.

Rat Terrier Dog Breed Profile

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

I am a happy owner of two rat terriers. They are half brother and half sister and other than coat color and size and natural hunting abilities they are not at all alike. The male Bingo is bossy and impudent and outlandishly boisterous. The female Zoey is shy and somewhat retiring and loves nothing better than to curl up in your lap and be petted.

Caring pet owners understand that their cats or dogs need doctors to look after their health just like every other family member and friend. A Dog’s View of Sports on TV

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

(As told to Brian Hill by a cocker spaniel from Phoenix named Patches.) At our house, we watch a lot of sports on TV. When I was a puppy, I thought this was a big waste of a nice sunny day. After all, it meant less time available for playing outside in the yard or going to the dog park. But as I’ve matured (the other day I saw my reflection in the window and was shocked to see I have gray in my muzzle), I’ve begun to see the wisdom of spending the afternoon on the comfy sofa watching a game. Some people think dogs can’t see TV or understand what’s going on. That’s nonsense. The only thing we can’t do is call and purchase the products we see on infomercials, but a lot of that stuff seems like junk anyway. Myself, I even figured out how to order pay-per-view using the remote.

Learn About The Japanese Spaniel Dog

Monday, July 27th, 2009

The origin of the Japanese Chin dog is obviously that of Japan. They were very popular in the Japanese court and were only allowed to be owned by the royal family. You will find they were extremely popular in the nineteenth century and became the national symbol of Japan in 1964. If you are a little confused by the name you should know in history they were actually known as the Japanese Spaniel. This dog is intelligent, happy, and affectionate. You will find them very playful, but you can also find them very sensitive. They tend to feel the moods around them so if you are angry, sad, or upset they will often feel these emotions as well. Despite their gentle manor they are best placed in homes with older children. They don’t tend to like the abuse a smaller child may inflict. You will also find they don’t tend to bark, unless during their guard duties. The Japanese Chin also has a great memory, therefore they are attuned to the humans around them and when they don’t like someone will let it be known. They tend to choose their owners with respect to attention and care.
