Literalmente, el Posicionamiento es el lugar que ocupa un producto o servicio en la mente del consumidor y es el resultado de una estrategia especialmente diseñada para proyectar la imagen específica de ese producto, servicio, idea, marca; con relación a la competencia. El posicionamiento de productos refleja los procesos de clasificación y de consideración de los consumidores. Cada vez que un consumidor va a una tienda o supermercado en búsqueda de un producto, debe revisar en su cerebro, la información almacenada sobre la variedad de productos a los que tiene acceso y desarrollar todo un proceso de análisis antes de tomar su decisión. Se puede mencionar en Argentina a la empresa Savora por ser un clásico del posicionamiento en el país. Ha logrado en el consumidor argentino, que su producto sea el genérico de las mostazas, es decir ha remplazado el nombre original de la “mostaza†por el de su marca. Existen otros ejemplos como CURITAS, CHIKLETS, MOVICOM, etc.

It's been a few days now since YouTube Remixer was launched and I'm sure you already had a taste of it. At first glance it seems like a good idea to add a video editor to a video sharing site. It even has some interesting functions. I'm not saying it's bad, but the interface is dull and gray, all left-aligned and somewhat uninspiring. If you get over that, the functions provided are interesting for the casual YouTube uploader. As a downside there aren't enough presets you can use. If you're a regular user and you choose to edit your movies using the Remixer, that means you can't use professional, more complicated applications to create evolved visual effects.
