Rascal Flatts Tickets - Never Stopping Sponsorships

Saturday, October 1st, 2011

It's all inside the Rascal Flatts tour, as the JC Penny ad slogan goes -the country trio is not simply embracing their new sponsor but rather, like everything that the Nashville natives do, are going all out to make this tour something truly unique. For Sunday's performance in Walnut Creek, the boys' stylist John Murphy went ahead with a full wardrobe completely equipped via JC. "We just got three new boxes from the new collection that I need to go through," Murphy explained to The News & Observer. "I'll go through them and will intermix them with other pieces," he continued, sorting through the retailer's American Living line, which includes casual tees, fitted jeans and stylish button downs. Aimed to please the classic American stylist, the boys all have their own unique approach to American Living, which Murphy will adjust.

It seemed to be the end of the musical journey for Blink 182 when they launched their four year hiatus back in 2005. Fleetwood Mac Tickets - Fleetwood Mac to Tour This Spring

Saturday, September 24th, 2011

Fleetwood Mac is gearing up for a spring tour, new album or not! The veteran rock band is currently preparing for their upcoming Unleashed North American tour and using their lack of a new album to their advantage. Drummer and Fleetwood Mac co-founder Mick Fleetwood recently told Billboard, "This is the first time we've gone on the road without an album. This is truly a new experience for Fleetwood Mac to go out and play songs that we believe and hope people are going to be familiar with and love." Singer/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham chimed in, saying that lack of new songs (which the group has been rehearsing since Jan. 5 in Los Angeles) "just allowed you to relax into the situation. We're not coming off a new group of tunes, a new album…the stakes for that side of it become a little bit lower."

Drum Machines: More Prevalent Than You Think

Wednesday, September 14th, 2011

When most people think of a synthesizer, they think of a machine used to reproduce the sounds of a piano via different electric frequencies-a keyboard. I know this is what I associate with the term. Yet synthesizers can be put to many different uses. Often, especially among the professionals of the music industry, a synthesizer is used to imitate the sounds of a drum or other percussion instruments. In such instances, the synthesizer is known as a drum machine.

Snare, Cymbals, Stands And Accessories Setup Guide Part Three

Monday, September 12th, 2011

If you have assembled your Hi Hat cymbals correctly, your two hi hat cymbals would now be on top of each other on the hi hat stand, looking like a sandwich. If you step on the hi hat pedal, you'll see the rod going up and down uselessly. Step on the pedal just a little bit, and then tighten the hand screw on the outside of the clutch. Then, when you lift up your foot and the rod goes up, it will take the clutch and the top hi hat cymbal up along with it. The amount of space between the hi hat cymbals when your foot is not on the pedal is determined by how much you press down on the pedal while tightening the clutch. The average distance between the two cymbals in the open position should be about an inch.

Wednesday, August 24th, 2011

Clad in candy-colored Sgt. Coldplay was nominated for a whopping seven Grammys and came away with three gramophones at the end of the night for Song of the Year, Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and Best Rock Album, and the band also rocked the stage as one of the evening's several top performers.

Now Stefani has reunited with her old band mates to bring fans another dose of the suburb sounds put forth by No Doubt. If you wish to join in the festivities and welcome No Doubt back into the music fray, be sure to go online and get your own pair of No Doubt tickets.
