When someone talks about disco hire the thought that immediately comes to mind is of awful horror stories of cheesy music, bad DJ's and parties that drag on forever. However all that is a thing of the past. We're a little more ambitious when planning our parties these days. Cheap booze, a few nibbles and bad tunes no longer cut the mustard. Organising a good party becomes a battle for supremacy between competing neighbours.

The eighth dimension, which I call the pulse of time, is also a transformation dimension because it transforms the dynamic into the energetic. The eighth dimension enables energetic movement within the first three dimensions; this energetic movement is defined by dimensions nine through eleven, and is in a direction at right angles to the movement defined by dimensions five through seven. The pulse of time also sets the "speed limit" of space/time (the speed of light); anything moving faster than this speed will transcend the dimensional parameter of time itself and thus "disappear" relative to those of us here in space/time.

In September of 1993 a television show premiered on Fox that became a cultural phenomenon all around the world. The show focused on FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Skully as they investigated paranormal activity, often centered around extraterrestrial origins. The show was called The X-Files.
