Why Gene Kelley Is Still Popular Today

Gene Kelley was born in 1912 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He had grown up with talent that wasn't seen often at the time. He had flashy dance moves and a dynamic personality. He quickly became a well known actor in the 1940's. With his dance moves he appeared in 47 films, which alone was quite a feat for the time. He acted with his brother, Fred Kelley, briefly in theatre but the big screen was calling him.

Dirty Dancing Tickets - The ’80s Classic Is now on a Stage Near You!

Dirty Dancing tickets are now available for stages in Boston, LA, and Toronto. The musical is based on the exciting movie by the same name that was released on August 12, 1987. Newly adapted for stage the musical contains many of the same hit songs that were so wildly popular in the movie.In its current appearance in Boston, the show is rumored to be getting ready for a Broadway run sometime in the next year. For those of us who take out the movie at least once a year to enjoy it with our gal-pals, this musical is definitely long-anticipated, and may even take the place of the movie…if it does not simply inspire us to watch it yet another time this year.

Disney Puts Holiday Hotspot On Ice
